With genealogist Anne Mealia

Wednesday 6 November 2019 | 2pm | Fielden Centre

The Fielden family dominated Todmorden in the 19th century, leaving their mark on every aspect of the town’s life including work, religion, education and leisure. Anne Mealia explores the story of the Fieldens and their legacy through some well known, and some less well known, buildings connected with the Fielden family.

Anne Mealia is a professional genealogist and historical researcher and runs her own research company, Evergreen Ancestry.  She carries out research across Yorkshire and Lancashire for individuals, academics and TV companies.  She is a guide with Calderdale Heritage Walks, planning and leading walks in the Todmorden and Walsden area.  Anne teaches family history and house history and is on the committee of Hebden Bridge Local History Society.
